Yeah, use a VR headset that does not need a PC.

You can still play PC VR games on it, you wont need a PC to run it because all the hardware would be in the headset.
You can play virtually any game other VR headsets can handle.

Ill make an example with the Occulus Quest 2.

Quote: -"the Oculus Quest 2 does not need a PC to operate. However, hooking it up to a PC will open an entire library of PC-only content.-".

The Quest 2 can only play games designed for it on its own. You will still require a VR capable PC to play PCVR games, and the RX 560 is way below the minimum specification.

So there you go. Just use your Quest2 with native Quest games.

PCVR needs at minimum a GTX1060 (or AMD counterpart). To use the Quest2 for PCVR games you'll need a PC with ether a USB3/USBC port or 1Gbit ethernet jack to plug into at minimum a 5GAC wireless router.

Sounds misleading as hell when we're in the context that OP doesn't have the PC power to drive the games in the first place.

Please consider that a "PC" includes ALL the devices that make it complete.

So the options on the table are: simply use the (mostly meh) native Quest2 apps, get another PC or get another video card for your current PC.

That one guy is horribly misinformed about the Quest 2's hardware running any PC VR game.

Think of the Quest and Quest 2 as if they are the marriage of an Oculus Rift (a PC VR headset) and a turbocharged Oculus Go (standalone).

What I mean is, when you use it like a Rift/Vive/Index etc. it's basically just the display and input for the games your PC is going to have to be able to run, so yeah, you'd absolutely need a new GPU to play things like Half-Life: Alyx or Boneworks (and any other PC Oculus games or Steam VR-compatible games).

When you use it like an Oculus Go/Gear VR/Daydream etc, it's running games made for essentially a flagship smartphone. The games have significantly lower fidelity and trim back a lot of the bells and whistles to get the games running well (watch comparisons of Audica and Beat Saber PC vs Quest/Quest2). That being said, you're getting the freedom to play VR anywhere and share it with people who otherwise would not be able to play these sorts of games.

TL;DR:
If you want to play PC VR games, you're gonna need a new GPU, no standalone headset will play them. The Quest/Quest2 are awesome, though, and give you the ability to experience both worlds. I hope Valve releases something similar soon.
