HP Reverb G2 Error Code 1-8
I played with my G2 since it came out and never had Problems with it.

But since yesterday i get this Error Code 1-8 and i don`t know why. Has anyone of you ever had this problem and if so, what helped ?

I have already reinstalled WMR, I have reinstalled graphics card drivers (DDU), I have unplugged all cables (including on the headset) and plugged them in fresh as I did during the initial installation but nothing helps.

I just have this black screen (sometimes the display comes on for a fraction of a second, but then goes right back off). As I said, it ran all the time without problems and I have not changed anything on my system. The setup is exactly the same as the day I got the G2.

Does it make sense to send the new Revision2 cable? I just do not understand why it now suddenly no longer works.

And i know what this Error Code means, but nothing helped to fix this Issue (also not when i set it on 60 Hz). The next device that ends up in the trash will be the G2. It is just annoying

none for versions 1709 & 1803 MRP can find the monitor, but cannot retrieve its display modes. Try to unplug all of the displays and try again.

Windows Mixed Reality sees your headset monitor, but is having trouble getting any display modes from the graphic card. To fix this:

1. If you're have multiple displays connected to your PC in addition to the headset, your GPU may not have enough bandwidth. Remove additional monitors and try again.

2. Make sure that you have the latest drivers

Could be a hardware issue where the HMD draws too much power, or the computer can't provide enough power. Did you attach more devices to USB ports recently?
Could also be a cable issue, I think.

Got the new Cable (the new Revision) and now my Problems are gone
