SteamVR Media Player: Media formats

SteamVR Media Player is great, but many media formats not supported

• Almost all .mov files show errors (from iPhone and other phones) and .avi too
  
• .mkv video files not even listed
  
• .mts video camera files not listed
  
• .jps - Jpeg side-by-side stere image
  
• .mpo - FinePix REAL 3D W3 stereo jpeg format
  
• .avi - FinePix REAL 3D W3 3D-AVI format (Stereo AVI format with 2 image channels)
  
• .m4v - video files not listed

After reading your list it makes me wonder about what is available. Doesn't seem like much.

it works with mp4 standard files. But I'm missing the srt subtitles option and turning the background black

this whole media player is crap, and cant uninstall

HEVC (H265) playback won't run in Virtual Desktop without the K-Lite Codec Pack.

Steam VR Media Player does everything but the 3d environment for free.

Don't buy Virtual Desktop. It's a buggy mess of bloatware.
