Also read pads are probably made in general for headsets and they are overlapping and it is problem to get symmetrical fit, I guess on both sides with your face. And this is yet probably best cover I found. I would be worried about damage from sweating the most! Problem is there is not really a much of a choice...

And I am not an engineer, or into 3D modelling. I wouldn't know, how to make it more robust... As I found out 3D printing is relatively cheap. But problem is how would you get exact shape of your face into 3D model? And then design gasket from it... That would require probably some professional equipment and knowledge! I don't have any 3D scan, or I don't know what is used to achieve this... It is simply not realistic. So I am stuck with what I can find on internet. And there are not much of them like 4, from which only 1 is remotely good...
This is so annoying. Being stuck on 80 horizontal FOV barely, or buy gasket, which will potentially damage lenses/HMD with sweat, that's just great. At least I am in EU, so 2 years of warranty, which is not even that much, given something on Index will break in a year and Valve will refuse you to sell any replacements, after warranty for 1079eur kit. Valve is so...
