I also strongly recommend looking at youtube reviews as they're usually very in-depth and consumable (i.e, easy to understand).

Though I would strongly consider Index then Oculus headsets before pimax.

I've got an 8kX, what's your question?

A damn, sorry for contributing nothing here but looking at their site, they're a super interesting brand that should be considered, their great fov, refresh rate! and high clarity is all amazing, and all for a decent cost! And the option to have eye tracking and even hand tracking!

1- How is the screen door effect compared to Index?

2- Can i use glases with the Pimax?

3- Can i use glases with Eye Traking?

4- What PC do i need to Run games with that headset, games like "VRChat,HF Alyx"?

My PC:

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 2060 OC 6Gb

RAM 16 GB

5- How hevy it is?

6- it's confroble?

1- sde is almost gone with the 8kX. You have to look hard for it.
2- yes, I do.
3- eye tracking doesn't seem to be working, yet, and does not seem to support glasses.
4- a beefy one. You are low on RAM and your video card is on the weak side to take full advantage of the 8kX, but, if you lower the settings a little, it should work. But I wouldn't lower settings until I proved that I needed to.
5- just throwing it on a scale complete with headstrap and hand tracking module it weighs in at around 800g, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. If you need a counter weight, I hear that around 300g works. I don't find it heavy coming from the Vive Pro to the 5k+ to the 8kX.
6- after comfort mods, sure!

A couple of things to keep in mind: this headset (the 8kX) is very sensitive to 'distance from your eye'. If you can't get your ipd set right, then you need a thicker face pad.
In addition, this is a 'cutting edge' headset. They're still working on the software. It works pretty well but there are almost too many settings available. I'm not a 'tweaker' by nature but it's been nice to be able to set the brightness, contrast, but, until they produce some ipd calibration software (which they're working on), some of the ipd adjustments can be 'eye-twisting' if you start playing with them.
Overall, I like my headset!

Versatility/Compatibility:

Does it Run the *SAME* games as INDEX, or are you running into compatibility issues?
(does it run Alyx, VR Chat, MS Flight Sim, EA StarWars:RS, Pavlov, Boneworks, WD:Saints and sinners, No Man's Sky)

if you have any games that don't work on it please list them...

Framerate / Refresh: what hz setting do you use ? how would you describe it?

Thanks so much for the information!!

Yes, it runs all of those. Anything in the SteamVR or Oculus Libraries. And I have all of those games.
I don't know of any that don't.
I use the 'stock' hz, 75, I think. I don't notice any difference. I've got the 5k+ that will crank up to 120hz but I've never felt the need for it.
The way Pimax works, at some point I expect software/firmware updates that will crank up the frequency. That's what they've done with the 5k+, all the way up to 120hz!
