Switching headsets

On steamvr how do you switch headsets. Like if I want to switch from oculus and I got a valve index for example, how do I switch on steamvr?

I'm resurrecting this thread to ask if there has been a way discovered to switch which headset is being utilized when you launch steamvr. now that so many people have multiple vr headsets, and may have them both connected to a pc, either physically wired, or wireless over something like virtual desktop or quest link etc. I am daily connecting to my pc via virtual desktop from my living room, while my pc is on a different floor of the house. it would save a lot of frustration if I could somehow select headset i want steamvr to render to, rather than always have to run downstairs to unplug my index from the pc so I can use my virtual desktop headset.

is there any hope of this functionality? or should I continue having to get my steps in?

yes me too, a ReverbG2 and a Pico4. If I launch SteamVR it's the ReverbG2 that activated. I would like the choice

Same here, I just have to turn the Reverb off with the little power button so it does not launch WMR.
