"the current HMD requires a driver that is not installed" ... ok where do I get the damn driver. been searching all day I need my mocap to work.

windows 10, rx 580, vive comos.

this would be a Vive problem if they have not updated the software.

Has it worked before or is this your first time? THis software is required.

yeah i used it maybe 3 months ago, but i went to reinstall it and now it wont work.

I would uninstall the vive software, launch steamVR and go into developers section and uninstall previous USB devices. install vive software and let steamVR find the new drivers.

See if that works.

thank you for the help, after clearing all traces of the device and its software then reinstalling all of it, i got it to work again.
