Wow, weird, sounds like an issue with changing the resolution, or maybe somehow the individual panels being recognized as separated devices...
Think of it as this picture:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RI8uWesGr66m2n5Lhsf7BlBA7QiGgQg_
But in my eyes it looks slightly disoriented, off centered, and an abnormal saturation.
(I tried taking a screenshot, but steam made it into a whole image while it was messed up for me.)
It doesn't come out the same, you can really only see it in VR
Any luck so far?
"Image in VR showing as Stereo in each/left/right eye"
Thanks, fixed it
A little update on this, today I played VR again and it was a while before my problem came; however, I was playing a boxing game at the time of the problem, and I continued playing while closing one eye so the problem doesn't hurt my head. Then the next thing I know, as I'm throwing punches, the problem fixed itself, which makes me believe it could be a hardware problem like whilst playing, a wire plugged into the headset (like the hdmi cable) is a little loose, and it disrupts my view from the game to the headset. This is just my theory, but I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem.
I know this is old, and I've since switched to a Index, but my problem was I accidentally rolled over the power cord for the Vive, causing the image to become messed up. I don't know if this is the problem you're experiencing, but since then I've kept all my cables neat and behind my desk.
