Mind you, I don't use my Vive Cosmos much due to the rings in the lenses being distractedly visible and hard plastic halo style headbands being uncomfortable for me. Well, those reasons and the original Vive Wands are sucky VR controllers compared to the much lighter and more ergonoic Touch controllers.
I'll need to save up for a set of Knuckle controllers, I think, before I'm willing to use the Vive Cosmos for my standard PCVR headset. Especially with Air Link working well now... for the moment.
I'm wondering now if this is the source of the issue. I haven't tried using my Vive Cosmos since updating to Win 11. So, maybe? It works fine with my Quest 2. But then again the Quest 2 doesn't need me to set up the room via Steam VR.
I fully agree. For a while I never actually turned off my Quest 2 because it kept erasing my guardian play space when I did. Eventually that bug got fixed, but it was still super annoying to have to set up a play space before I could get in a work out, join some friends in Horizon Worlds to goof off, or do anything else in VR.
