SteamVR Dashboard 'Desktop" Right-Click? [Index]
Does somebody know how to do a right-click on the desktop with the valve index knuckles? I know it was possible with Vive wands using the trackpad-click...

Do i need to make a custom button binding to have right/double click?

Pretty sure it's pressing down on the top of the trackpad, it should work. I have to use that as the normal click as I have mouse buttons reversed in Windows, and SteamVR doesn't bother correcting for that.

If you press down on the trackpad and feel closely you can feel it get slightly depressed, aka it's a button in itself.

I'm not sure they actually get depressed at all, my impression is that it's a haptic impulse from a linear actuator or similar under the trackpad. If the controllers are off, there's no substantial click, so I presume it's using a force sensor like in the grips. Makes it easy to conclude there is no click function if trying them on while off.

I'm pretty sure I either felt or saw it when looking at the controller, I don't know at all what it is but I think it was mainly if you press at the bottom or top edge you can see the trackpad get depressed very slightly.

I feel more depressed than the trackpad. Especially when the dashboard text input is up, hoping that I get used to it somehow.

Another hint is the 'test controller' tool, it shows a linear analog bar filling up when pressing the same spot on touchpad. That confirms that the force sensor is used, probably with a trigger level, to make a right-click. With such sensors, it were unusual to have an additional mechanical button integrated as well.
