Will my laptop work w/ Oculus Rift S
I have had a Lenovo Yoga 730-13ikb laptop for a little while now and i'm having trouble with my new Rift S. Is the headset compatible with my computer, or is it something else?(im getting a usb adapter for the graphics cable)
If it's not compatible, is the regular Rift compatible?

From the specs I read on that machine, it was only Intel UHD620 and the only headset that I know that "might" work with the intel integrated is the Microsoft Windows Mixed Reality set.
Thanks
Actually I’m looking up my Lenovo’s specs, and it looks like it would work fine(probably should have done this first) but it seems like it will work with the rift, maybe the rift S. I’ll see if it REALLY works in a bit in case someone else wants to know about it, but i think you guys may still be right

Unfortunately your laptop's gpu is not powerful enough to run vr. you may want to upgrade to something around a 1060 or 1660 for a lower cost vr experience
hmm... Maybe a part in my computer was changed out at some point? I mean, what I have is fine. The only problem is most laptops dont have graphics ports and there are hardly any graphics->usb adapters, so finding one was a hassle

Have the same question, except I have actually bought the Rift S for my ASUS ROG laptop. The USB 3.0 connects just fine, except my laptop cannot detect the DIsplayPort connection. It may be because the DisplayPort uses the integrated graphics rather than the dedicated graphics.
