Report a translation problem
You show it by going to the SteamVR window, bring up the drop-down and choose Display Mirror. In this window you can choose either eye or both, but cannot apply any custom cropping so it'll most often be an image ~circle so maybe not exactly what you want.
Another option is to use OBS[obsproject.com] and the OpenVR Input plugin[github.com] and display a full-screen preview on the display you want to use to show the game. Then you can make a custom crop entirely after your needs.
