Just letting you guys know that you can use OpenComposite instead of the poorly done steam VR! Maybe they should start to listen to the problems we are having and fix them!

Yeh thanks. Heard about this last night. Have been aching for a replacement. Valve and SteamVR are getting pretty ♥♥♥♥ and sick of them ignoring issues, and making it more buggy.

If this works well enough, I am ditching SteamVR totally. My only worry or concern is how you do room setup without SteamVR?

Damn, only seems to work for Oculus. If they did a version for my Vive.. that would be awesome. Surely it would be possible?

Oh it’s amazing how much better my ELITE dangerous runs now I have uninstalled Steam VR

Message them maybe its in the pipe line

OpenComposite doesnt work for every game. And since OC support has to be added on a per game basis, it lacks support for newer games.

Its new give it a chance and its already better than Steam VR rubbish!
