Is there an easy way to switch between standing and sitting profiles?

basically, if i want to play a game sitting and I had adjusted the steamvr settings while standing, everything is wrong in game. and vice versa

its super annoying. i'm on a rift. the oculus home doesn't seem to have this issue, as theres just a built in adjust button most of the time

it has an adjust button. hold menu button down ingame and click reset seating position. most game has it.

For SteamVR you don't need to switch. You can define a seated position and as long as you are in that position, the chaperone grid will be switched off.
Alternatively you can install OpenVR Advanced Settings and set the transparency of the chaperone grid to 100%.
