SteamVR

Connecting more than 2 vive trackers
Ok so I'm using 1.0 base stations and 2.0 vive trackers and when launching steam vr I cant get the final tracker to connect into full body, But if I turn off one controller I can connect the last tracker but then cannot reconnect the controller back to be able to use it. So I can have all the trackers set up but I'll be missing a controller. I have gone into the files and used the change for using the oculus and have updated everything to the latest and still nothing has changed. So if anyone has experienced this or can give some advice on how to fix it that would be greatly appreciated

You have three tracker dongles right? Make sure no more than two are connected to the same USB host. Spread them out across your system, front ports, back ports, etc.

Ok I had that set up but was still running into the same issue, I had 2 in the front ports and one in the back then tried it with two in the back still same issue

Then... I honestly don't know, as that has historically been the main problem. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe if one dongle is faulty, not quite sure how to check that, maybe by having two at a time connected and seeing if you can always connect two trackers?
