Turn off Valve Index Base Stations - there is no menu!
How do you get the power control to work in Steam VR anymore? I can't get mine to shutdown anymore. There is no base station power menus anymore in steam VR as of last update. I hear them running and spinning all night.

unplug them? Obviously just a work-around but just unplug them. Maybe they need a hard reset after an update? Bluetooth power mgmt is still an option in SteamVR and that is what manages them.

I just had the same problem
Click the 3 little bars in the upper right corner of the SteamVR window, then Devices>Base Station Settings>Power Management and reenable it

Thank you, that was very helpful. In other sources I only found the hint to go to the old (non-existent) menu point. I am very surprised that this is not on per default.

I just turn everything on and off with google assistant. "Ok google, turn on VR" and it turns on my base stations and VR headset =) (with the help of smart plugs, but that is ofcause a more expense, if you as well just can use their idle mode)

Sorry for the necro but you can now get Phillips smart plug that works with alexa and google with 3 smart outlets in one, for only 20 bucks at target. Hell a lot cheaper then a new base station lol.

I mean, there's a menu under Base Station Settings -> Power Management to control them turning off.

My issue is I have 3 base stations and a large 2-room setup for my PC vs living room, so I can't see all three base stations at the same time.

When I turn it off, if it can't see that base station, it won't turn it off. There used to be a setting for that I thought.
