whenever i have this error, i've found that trying methods 1 to 5, in random order and repeatedly, eventually makes the vive function again
Does this mean that the driver for the Headset Display is actually missing? If so, where can I l download this driver? It would seem that updating / reinstalling Steam does no good.
The VR system works fine while wired, but in wireless mode, it consistently produces the Error 208.
I've been over and over troubleshooting efforts with both Dell and HTC with the final recommendation that I return the unit.
Note that this issue is present in Win 10 v. 1809; Build 17763.316. Other OS builds don't appear to be affected. While this OS is digitallly Activated as Win 10 pro, I am also unable to prevent Automatic Updates from eventually resetting my NEW XPS computer and OS back to Win 10 Home (same build).
Any help from Vive, Steam, HTC...? would be GREATLY appreciated!
