Firefox VR not working

I have a HTC Vive Headset. Whenever I try to use the VR feature in firefox, whether it be their official website or websites that host VR content it seems like it tries to load Firefox VR, but immediately just stops and goes back to Steam VR Home. I clicked allow to the pop up that asks for access to VR device. Tried reinstalling firefox, did an integrity cache check on Steam VR. Still doing it.
What am I doing wrong here?

Got the same problem, a few weeks ago it did work, now when i klick on the VR icon on any VR Video page, nothing happens and the websites loads and loads and my headset does nothing... Steam VR is running, i even can't find and fix the problem.
