Keybind for "Reset Seated Position"?
Is there a way to Bind this to a Key or Button Press?
I'm not talking about In-Game ones that have this option for during gameplay but the actual SteamVR setting, as when I enter some Games UI I have to manually do this every single time (WMR, Reverb) and it's annoying.
Thanks

Edit: this is without having to use Controllers either, I want to Manually Bind this to a Button elsewhere.

yes this is very annoying. Can we have a keybinding in steam to allow re-setting seating position? It would help a great deal.

Or keep the current reset seating position but add a countdown of 5 or an adjustable countdown so when you reposition yourself, it resets after you click on the button?

the current reset works fine but when i look at it off angle, it resets off angle. its crazy. add a countdown to this.

If you hold system menu on controller, previous versions allowed you to click on reset. The new one is in the power button on the vr dashboard.

I don't want to turn on controllers and use dash though, hence in my original post "this is without having to use Controllers either, I want to Manually Bind this to a Button elsewhere."

Same here, I have a reset seating position f1 on elite dangerous and project cars 2 reset seating position.

It would be great to have this I agree. Some applications does not offer this option so this makes sense 3specially for power users.

I agree, I have several legacy, non-controller supporting apps that don't even have the reset feature. After about 2 hrs I tend to wish to pop a squat and it would be nice to just bind it to a mouse / kb / other button so i can just sit down and hunt for my bluetoothkb in the dark and press :) I could just press the controller button and go destop and click this and that, but it does loose the feeling of being in a game ;)

when in game, you can open up VR dashboard and now has a reset seating position on the lower bar. try it. This is an added feature.

Can I just say, GOD YES. Come on, folks, this is 1980's technology. Key press = activate some function. TrackIR could do it more than a decade ago. Why do this? BECAUSE IT MAKES IT EASIER.

Just do it already.

Just bought an HP Reverb G2. Guess what, coming from TrackIR, the first thing I was looking for was the recenter key binding. Playing race and flight simulators I hardly use the controllers. So indeed a key binding would make life a lot easier.
