It's not transferred per se, steam adds a link to it's library and you can launch from steam
Question is, do you still plan on using Oculus hardware? Because if you do, the Oculus software always have to be running in the background anyway 😬 And if you don't, you'll have to use a solution like Revive[github.com] to play your Oculus titles, in that case there will be a separate overlay for it in the SteamVR dashboard.
They should though, it's going in the same dev pocket whether you buy it from steam or oculus
