-102 is a error indicating one or more base stations are struggling to track/see the VIVE. Have you checked all the cables for the VIVE? Try reseating them by unplugging them then plug them back in just to be sure. also does the base stations have clear sight over the VIVE? mirrors etc messing up the view.
Make sure that your base stations are seated firmly so they don't shake/move.

I have checked all the cables and the only thing that would be in the way is possibly a ceiling fan but I used the long cord to connect them and still no luck I will check to make sure the base stations are seated correctly and hope that fixes it

I suggest contacting HTC Support as it may have faulty sensors on the headset.

So you sent your old one away and received a new one and you still got the same issue?

I think its something with windows because I keep getting a bluetooth is not enabled message but it wont let me enable it

That's really odd. You should contact them again and tell them about your issue.
also you can try reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers.
Go to Device Manager on your computer.
Then click "Bluetooth Driver"
and it should be named something like "BCM20703 Bluetooth 4.1 USB Deivce"
Rigth click it then "Uninstall Device" also check the "Delete the driver software for this device."
afterwards that's done, unplug the power to the link box,
reconnect it then wait a few seconds for it to install the drivers then open SteamVR.

EDIT: The bluetooth is inside the Linkbox and sends out signals, not from your PC.

Friend, I met the same problem. I sent my helmet to the service and wait for its arrival. I piped all the wires a hundred times, checked everything and nothing helped. The error was sudden.

That sucks to hear man, hopefully it will be sorted out soon.

It will not be, technical support does not know anything about this topic. Most likely, as in service. Because I called HTC service and found out that the repair was not made.

yea there support basically told me the same thing im going to keep making personal tests myself and hope something happens I bought a vive on thursday sent it back drove 3 hours away to get one that was in stock and it has the same problem so it seems like it is a software problem rather then hardware but I will keep trying I have also learned that the bluetooth setting isnt required for it to work

Bluetooth is there only to let your Base Station communicate with the Linkbox
to be turned off when not in use.
I find that issue quiet strange, I got my vive a bit over a 1 month ago
and only issue i had was a dead pixel and i sent it back and they put new screens in it
and got it back in like 1 week from sending it away.
except from that i had 0 problems with my VIVE.
I'm not sure If can do much to help you guys out with this issue.

I haven't seen any error codes, but I also just recently started having the same issue. I haven't contacted support yet, but the issue of the headset tracking just fine then suddenly cutting out and not reconnecting without a reboot is the same. I've had my vive for a little over a year now, and have never had this issue before. I posted a full description on this board, see if it lines up with your problem.
