Htc vive usb issue

I am installing vive for the first time, the hdmi is working fine but its stuck on Detecting usb connection, i`ve tried all usb ports, restarting the headset, removing all cable and installing it again, still same problem

if your hdmi dosnt plug into your graphics card, it wont work (any pc that is vr compatable will say it.. if it dosnt, YE CANT :D )

its true though, if the hdmi port isnt connected to your graphics card, it wont work

being stupid and missing something simple while reading is different, ya couldve simply said it was the hdmi, but ya started insulting me

Or bypass the linkbox first and connect your VIVE to your RIG directly and see how it goes. I remember I have seen someone who has similar issue like you have and he resolved his issue by skipping the linkbox. Then he connected his VIVE to linkbox again.. boom... Issue solved. Strange workaround.
