Valve Index IPD
Anyone know what the deal is/will be with the IPD, I already returned a VIVE pro because it was inadequate at maximum and was a nightmare to try to get right.

The sweet spot on the valve index is much bigger than a vive pro. I struggled with this as well and I borderline it. The sweet spot on the vive pro is much smaller. Regular vive, for some reason, works fine for me and is more comfortable. The valve index also sits very close to your eyes unlike vive pro

The original Vive and Vive Pro have a similar adjustment, but their lenses can’t get as close to the eye as Index allows."

Excellent observation! You guys need to try it at least. Too bad there are no demo sites.

Would love to know if anyone with a higher IPD (71+) has tried this thing and liked it. Surprised I'm not seeing answers to this question yet.

I'm 71mm and have an okay time but keep in mind every bit you are above this is going to make it worse and worse. Someone with say 74mm will have a very different experience from me. I feel like I just barely make it.

72mm IPD (closer to 73) and I couldnt use the Index for more than 30 minutes without eye fatigue. Planning on returning my headset if they can ever get the RMA option working...
