Valve Index Controller Charging

Simple question here... The controllers don't come with AC power adapters like the Vive did. Can I use the AC adapters that came with the Vive to charge the Index controllers safely?

No, they are charged with USB plug.

Yes, and the AC adapters take a USB plug. I should probably just try it, I bet it will work.

Sorry for late answer but if you still haven't figured it out it is because you need to plug them into your computer.

You can use your Vive AC adapters with the cables that came with the Index but will charge at standard rate.

The Index controllers support quick charge but you will have to provide a quick charge Ac adapter and cable for that to work.

You don't need a different cable, just ac adapter. I used my note 8's fast charge ac adapter with the incluced index cable and confirmed with my phone that the cables don't matter, just the adapter.
