when i plugged mine in both lit up white, in steam vr they showed as left one 3/4 and right one 2/4. i think its just a glitch in steamvr, i doubt anything is wrong with your controllers

Any idea how long they charge? I've been charging them for over 2 hours but they're still orange. The left one wasn't even in the red, had 1 green block left last time i used it.

replug them and see if it changes, if not leave them plugged in. if youre really worried you can fire up steam vr and check the x/4 battery indicators

Replugging them did nothing, checking it with steamvr they both had 3 blocks. Seems like they would take like 3 hours to charge, damn.

nah i dont need to iv been doing it that way since early 2017 i actualy use the cable for my vive trackers dongle to charge my controllers
i usualy play long period of vr(like 6-8 hours) or none at all i rarely go out of vr just to comeback 15 minute after
and when i run out of battery while playing i use a power bank
