Oculus rift s going orange
So whenever I try opening a game from steam on my Oculus Rift s the game opens but when I get to the menu of the game my screen on the headset turns black and I can see an orange light. I've been trying to fix this for weeks. Someone please help me!!!

A complete manual removal and re-installation of the Oculus drivers and software worked for me when I was suffering the same symptoms after a past update.

having the same issues randomly with original rift with steamvr. sometimes games run fine then others it will randomly black screen and lose feed to the headset, exiting steamVR usually fixes it.

steamVR=Garbage software

so you returned better hardware to make it compatible with bad software?? sounds logical
got the same problem but an easy fix... first find an USB 3.0 port on your pc... not 3.1! so the Rift works under perfect conditions... in you energy options from windows make sure to disable powersavings for usb... next step is simple but has to be done everytime the oculus software starts: unplug your rift usb cable and plug it back in... you can also do this at the rift... im so glad i didnt returned it... cuz my next step will be the vive pro or the pimax when they get cheaper at the end of next year :)
also and thats really important... use beta drivers... you can select them in the oculus software

I have same problem. Almost every game crashes rift, and it's not about hardware. For example Vr chat makes oculus go to sleep almost instantly, when spider man works flawlessly.

have the same problem, I have a VR ready USB port and it still doesn't work. I unplugged it etc. It works sometimes and sometimes not, weird.
