Maybe the spring has gotten loose? Both sides are spring loaded, so if you pull on them they should be springy, is that working for both sides?

In that case it does sound as if the spring has come loose on the left side, sadly I've not seen a fix for this so no idea if you can do it yourself. I'd definitely talk to support for a possible RMA 😬

@Nate - did you get this resolved? My headband is has suffered the same issue and I'm wondering if there is a quick fix or I need to file a support case.

Actually, it appears the fix is to tighten the knob and that will pull the in the extended side.

Got here via Google, so just in case someone else ends up here: Cpl. Sneaky's solution worked for mee too; just turn the knob ever tighter until both sides are even again. Thanks!

Stumbled upon this via searching and the solution still applies, very good!
Fasten your headband via the knob as tight as possible and it will be properly adjusted again, thanks.
