steam vr web browser...

Hi,

I'm a new steam vr user and am really enjoying it so far!

However, I am having a bit of trouble using the vr web browser in steam. In particular, I am unable to click on the 'signin' button in either the bookmarked youtube app or gmail.

The browser seems to visually register the click but nothing happens, no signin page or anything appears.

I have also tried to use youtube with in my normal browser (chrome) with steamvr in desktop mode, but it seems to be a bit hit and miss - I can't always reliably click on buttons and the pointer sometimes selects random bits of surrounding text instead.

I have tried holding controller very, very still(!) but with no luck so far. I can't quite hold the 'lazer beam' *perfectly* stil though.

Am I mssing something? Is there a trick to this? Are my controllers broken? Any other ideas?

Apologies if this is the wrong place for such questions, but I am new to steam and there's a lot going on here!

IMO, the Steam VR app is not good for web browsing. I would try Bigscreen beta. Viewing and interacting with your desktop is easier. And most web browsers also have a fullscreen function, that would help also once you're in Bigscreen beta. F11 for chrome.
