Tridef 3D no longer working. SteamVR Error 308. Can it be patched?

Tridef 3D is commercial tool to make unofficial stereo 3D support for flat screen games.

It has steam support for years, working fine. Worked fine with Virtual Desktop and Vive till end of this summer.

The problem is in the way Tridef working - it uses injection, you need to run .exe file through it. Since most of Steam games don't run directly, Tridef has injector for Steam. When you run Steam game with it, it restarts Steam client with injection.

Worked previously, but now when I run SteamVR on injected Steam client it shows Error 308.
Now I can play in stereo 3D only games that can be launched directly.

I understand it's not an official app Steam must support. Yet stereo 3D games is a big piece of content you can play on the Vive.

I be glad to hear any response from SteamVR devs, whether it's possible or not.
