Minecraft 10 Oculus issues Windows update must be enabled?
I'm guessing there are a few possible fixes for this can anyone share fixes they have found so I can try to get mine working

You need to turn windows auto update on so it gets you to the new version of windows...well for me I had too. Was stuck at 1511 for ages and this needs a newer version of windows 10

I have 1703 which is the creator update and auto updates are on

You also need to install Minecraft through the Microsoft Windows Store. Once that is done the error message goes away in the Oculus version.

do you install the free trial and then it is activated through oculus

I did finally get working. I was disappointed that what was included on the rift was a trial.

The error is actually saying exactly what the problem is, it's just saying it poorly. Under advanced settings in windows update, there's an option to let it update other microsoft products at the same time that it updates windows. If you turn that on, the software will start installing the rest of minecraft on its own.
