Blurry Steam Menu?

everytime i go into the steam menu on Vive its blurry and pixalated to the point where i can really read anything and its a headache to look at...i dont know what is causing it and im not one to mess with settings as i like everything the way it is currently (except this issue obviously) could it be something with open VR? i installed the program in december by havent updated it since and dont know how to get rid of it

Start SteamVR.... Point at the small arrow that opens the drop-down menu (beside the SteamVR text in top left corner ).

Select SETTINGS from the drop-down menu.......... then look for SuperrSampling, move the slider to the right a bit to get a clearer picture. It depends on your video card as to how far you can move this slider before it affects your VR with stuttering.

It's not impossible that you might manage to trigger the camera at the same time, but probably not :P

In my case, as I capture my Vive camera in OBS it's unavailable to SteamVR, but triggering the camera anyway by double-tapping the system button will tank my headset resolution as it attempts to display an unaccessible camera on top.

i have it at 1.4 (1070) right now, everything is clear in game, but as soon as i open the steam menu in the headset it becomes a blurry mess

that was my exact problems, though i had a little trouble deleting open vr and or reinstalling it, so i deleted a config file (it was months ago so i couldnt remember what one) but then it finally worked

Reading text in VR sucks right now. Screendoor effect is the problem.
