Base Stations Not Detected
I have my stations connected via sync cable and they constantly are in the "not detected" state. They hardly ever work in wireless mode either. They constantly disconnect. It is the only problem I've had with the Vive. They are set to the correct channels. I've tried switching USBs as well. Nothing works. They only work when they want to and there is no rhyme or reason to it. It is very frustrating.

Does anyone have any solutions?

use a different usb on the pc.

you have them set to b and a? try unpairing all devices and repair. or incase you dont want to do that, repair all devices.

'b' and 'c' would be the correct base station assignment for 2 base stations in use. 'a' is for when you're using a single base station.

Without the sync cable Press the Channel buttons at the back of the base stations so that one base station is set to channel ​“‍b”, while the other is set to channel ​“‍c”.


With the sync cable (optional for added reliability)
Press the Channel buttons at the back of the base stations so that one base station is set to channel ​“‍A”, while the other is set to channel ​“‍b”.

If your still having an issue, just swap them around
