Read. The. EULA.
I know reading is boring but:
Like jesus christ its not that hard to understand it. Its hard to accept it that for sure, especially for someone who are not happy with the game for any reason and they want their nitpick chance at devs. But other than talking emotional and being objectivly wrong theres nothing in it.
It really reminds me of Rimworld situation, when devs made fences in the game dispute mods doing that and same thing happend. OMG a theft! THEFT I say! But people there are more resonable and this "theft" thing died down very quick. Rimworld also have nearly same wording regarding the "modified software" but with an addittion to it.
So. Give it a rest already and grow up.
P.S.: I also belive that most moders would be pleased to know that their content\work\idea was implemented in to the game officialy, it would mean that they can give up on maintaining the mod while knowing they and their work were acknowledged by devs, with or without being credited. This is only my assumption and I would be happy if my stuff was in the game, if I made any. But nothing stops you going asking the authors of those mods, that were "stolen" by devs, about their opinion on it.
