Except the new content is free and the DLC is mostly cosmetic, so no dice for your nonesense. Not to mention that what you are accusing the devs of is theft.

They hire the people that make the mods then force them to delist every mod they have made. So what they said is accurate.

we need a hud like the elite dangerous one, that or any other way to have visual damage, even if its just an led script, probably hard to make it not performance intensive.
Korgoth Jun 2, 2024 @ 9:08am
Just spot lighting that you abandon games and should never be trusted as developers. See you next community post.

They developing space engineers 2 this game is dead and all we will probably see in the future is tiny updates/ fixes and more community updates

Well that's an easy one. Flat armor plates, curved armor plates, curmved armor blocks, scaffolding, all the crazy pyramid shaped armor blocks, some of the lights, some of the decorations from all decor packs, full block ventilation, some of the weapons (ship), pistol (personal), rocket launcher (personal), a bunch of stuff from industrial dlc. And that's jsut the beginning. Noticed that a while ago as well and now just can't unsee. But if mod creators are being rewarded for this or are ok with their mods becoming DLCs - i don't mind because updates usually bring high quality stuff.

Edit: Forgot to mention all the catwalks

If they hire them then it isn't theft, theft would be if they took someone else's property without permission. If an art gallery buys a painting do you say they stole it too?
I'm done with this "theft" talk on every single community mods highlight post.
Read. The. EULA.
I know reading is boring but:

Like jesus christ its not that hard to understand it. Its hard to accept it that for sure, especially for someone who are not happy with the game for any reason and they want their nitpick chance at devs. But other than talking emotional and being objectivly wrong theres nothing in it.
It really reminds me of Rimworld situation, when devs made fences in the game dispute mods doing that and same thing happend. OMG a theft! THEFT I say! But people there are more resonable and this "theft" thing died down very quick. Rimworld also have nearly same wording regarding the "modified software" but with an addittion to it.

So. Give it a rest already and grow up.

P.S.: I also belive that most moders would be pleased to know that their content\work\idea was implemented in to the game officialy, it would mean that they can give up on maintaining the mod while knowing they and their work were acknowledged by devs, with or without being credited. This is only my assumption and I would be happy if my stuff was in the game, if I made any. But nothing stops you going asking the authors of those mods, that were "stolen" by devs, about their opinion on it.

If I block all the haters in this thread, will there be a thread left? Invest your time in things you love, not things you hate. I'm here because I love this game (warts and all).
