Hm, I am using DLAA for anti aliasing.

I have a 4070 TI Super, and on 1440p, 7800 3DX, and 32 gb of ram, I can choose dlss(I chose DLAA cuz the game runs great), and no frame gen because it's not needed. I get fps in the 140s usually, somethings a little lower, some a little higher.

4070 TI Super here, DLSS (though I am using DLAA) is an option for me. Have you tried all the standard, updating drivers etc? Certainly sounds like a frustrating bug. :(

If you have a 4090 you shouldn't be using dlss to begin with. You can easily hit 140 plus frames In 4k without it.

You have to do it from the main menu. The game doesn't let you change DLSS settings while in-game.

You don't need DLSS if you have a 4090. You know DLSS is only to be used if you can't hit an acceptable frame rate, right? Otherwise native is always better. DLSS3 with TAA destroys image quality.

Speaking of DLSS, is anybody else having better performance with DLAA instead of any of the DLSS settings? I have a 4070 and DLAA has been the biggest boost in performance for me with framegen activated.

I couldn't use it until I change the screen to full screen mode from borderless, then it worked

Cant play full version yet but demo ran for me in 100-240 fps depending on what were happening on screen. Mine standard fps were something around 140 fps. I got RTX 4080 and played at 1440p. Even if I had fps moving around 60-80 I wouldnt even touch DLLS.
