Leopard 1 Unplayable?

The leopard 1 wasnt the best vvehicle even before it went up to 8.0, but now its absolutely unplayable no apfsds no stabilizer. especially because of the soviet equivallents such as the t55 and its variants wich have: better armor, better amunition, better survivability, and stabilization.

I think everything is playable just a different tactic is needed, if your weaker than your enemy then sit in ambush listen for the enemy and surprise them.

the soviet equivallent is the t54 at 8.0 without apfsds, stab and even without range finder like the leopard. Its a difficult br for every nation right now

7.7 was probably the right BR. On 7.3 it was cancer, on 8.0 it's lackluster. Leopard is in some kind of limbo rn

I hate to be captain obvious but, that was 2015! I do agree though to some extent, it should be somewhere between 7.7 and 8.0. All it really has going for it right now is speed. I think it's another one of those that decompression would help.

APDS was absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it did no damage at all, it was even worse than current APCR.
You had to suffer through that to get to the heatfs which was called Cheatfs because of how insane it was back then, unlike now where all the shells are bad.

No, APDS was good AF back then. I never used APDS over HEAT-FS if I could help it. Now, it's the opposite.

No, APDS was good AF back then. I never used APDS over HEAT-FS if I could help it. Now, it's the opposite.

Not early on, I stopped playing the Leopard and never spaded it because of how bad it was, it sucked because you'd run into the same issue in the other trees at the same BR as they all relied on APDS.
