Hey bro there are trees taller than that. Redwoods grow over 100 meters so you hitting trees at 180 feet is not unheard of plus you have to take the elevation of the land into consideration cause I am sure the land is not at 0 meters cause then you would have a hell of a flood. Use your head.

But there are no Redwood Trees in this game. I am sure there are no Birch Trees which can grow that heigh either. It's simply a scaling issue in the game.

On some maps they were over 12 stories tall, lol. They actually nerfed how tall they are, but they're still too tall. I think it's to give you perspective when at altitude, but they look ridiculous when you're at ground level.

You guys realise the altitude is based on sea level, right? So the ground might be 50m above sea level and then the tree tops are only slightly higher than that

♥♥♥♥ dude, i had one end my night was on a nice roll playing top tier CAS and on my way back to the airfield i flew OVER one and t killed me, i even checked the replay and i WAS close but i never touched it. they need to fix the hit boxes cuz thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. gameplay makes me fly low but game says no, heres a tree thats literally bigger then it looks

You can change your indicated altitude to radar-height. That should give you a more accurate reading.

The default setting is for sea level.

I got confused between altitude (sea level) and elevation (ground level) but I'm glad Gaijin likes very tall trees XD
