Italy or sweden war thunder

What would be better to grind and to have fun with sweden or italy?, and is the italy now worth it because of the Leopard 2a7uhu?

Why not both? Frankly, I find Italy and Sweden to be extremely fun to play.

OTOMATIC struggles hard to hit moving targets, especially jets that aren't flying in a straight line, and 2A7 is a single tank which means you either ODL or bring out the worst top tier MBTs in the game as backup.

No other nation has this much of a disappointing setup at top tier.

Gaijin hates Italy. Its vehicles get too much nerfed till some vehicle can't be played because it's in too high tier with worse stat.

They also hate Japan. Just look how they butchered the Type 89 into oblivion or how they axed the STB-2/ Type 74´s in mobility.

Italy will eventually get another German tank, Leopard 2 or something close to that. It will not be this year however. Gaijin will probably implement this some years down the road. :knightsrightfulness:

Italy also bought some ~250 KF51 Panther now while Germany so far hasn't ordered any nor has plans to, only some small amount of like 120 2A8 - even Romania ordering more K2 from Korea lol

Italy and Sweden are the ones I play the most. Both are a bit special as their tanks are not typical American or Soviet tanks. Sweden in particular has many different vehicles that have to be played a little differently. Sweden has none with armour, but often has good cannons and optics. Their vehicles are best used for sneaking and sniping.
Italy has many fast armored cars and, like Sweden, they have nothing with armor. Besides some AT guns on BR 2.3 to 3.3 that have good front armor for their BR.
It depends on what style of play you want.

Freccia,sidam mistral, kf41, leapord 2a7, otomatic, AMX 1A. My lineup has zero problems at top tier. People whine about the ariete are the same people getting into head on engagements with t-90s. With some amount of brain power the ariete does work well. Too many brain dead players in this game though, especially in the discussions .

Haven´t touched the KF41 for quite a while since he always felt meh for me.
Mostly due to it´s APS which (for me) always ended in a 50:50 if I survive a ATGM even if it get´s intercepted by the APS and the wonky lock ons for the SPIKE´s.

And the OTOMATIC is by all rights at best a 10.3-10.7 vehicle instead of 11.3.
As the only cannon SPAA, it´s heavily outclassed in it´s role by the AA missile systems at that BR.
Yes, it has quite strong APFSDS rounds but only carries 12 of it. (meanwhile 2S38 can go full belt APDSFS if he wants)

itally just feels like discount germany... sweeden is kinda fun tho, kinda plays like a combination of biritan and russia.
