What Annoys or Pisses you off the most in War Thunder?
1. Projectiles making their own Physics up instead of going where I'm aiming, which wastes time & gives away my postion and allows the opponant to 1 shot me every single time.

a) Speaking which, if my projectile does hit it either ricochets of stupid places in armour, like flat armour i'm directly shooting or...

b) Doesn't penetrate which adds to the annoyance as I check the armour rating of where I shot It (effective armour) & the ammuntion I used against it & if it should of penetrates it, which in one occasion where I had an PT-76 & I used HEATFS on a IS-1 front plate (Driver Compartment) No Penetration.

2. Game calulates pen/ricochet values like a alcholic that can't stand up stright while walking, if my HEATFS says it can pen 200mm of armour, then pen that armour otherwise I would keep logically complaining about the situation of what should have happened, this kind of s*it gets me killed every single time, it annoys me.

3. Bombers in Arcade Ground Forces, like these are a nuisance, like can't I just play Ground Forces only without being invaded by Bombers or Aviation in general? If I want Bombers in Ground Forces I play Realistic/Simulator Battles.

The Battle Rating System, One good example is me driving in my T-80, till a British 3-Inch Gun Carrier comes into a BR 2.0 - 2.7 & I can't bloody penetrate the thing, it's front has like 86mm armour, the only way the kill it is flanking it & shoot it's rear, but if i tried that I would be killed, heck I even tried APCR against it & it doesn't penetrate it. Or the common T-34 invading BR 2.0 - 2.7 spaces which are more annoying & makes playing 2.0 - 2.7 tanks painful. Whats the point of a matchmaking system if you can't match me up with tanks I can compete against? It's ridiculous...

5. Spawn Campers, these in general on any game are annoying considering they're getting free kills by just campling at the spawn point without skill. In gameplay terms it's unethical. But yet many people abuse it, because their isn't a penalty system to stop them.

6. Rendering problems at the start of the match, when you first spawn it on the Map, it's either unrendered or it is rendered but the Tanks isn't & you accidently collide into frendily tanks. causing arguments. Render everything before spawning me in.

Anything else???

i have had more than a few kills stolen, but usually the kill theft also saved my butt so im not gonna complain. games would be a lot more interesting if both sides employed actual teamwork and tactics rather than running off like lemmings and getting killed
It isn't a kill steal if the enemy is endangering you

Not having a gamemode between arcade and realistic. Like arcade with no nametags above everyone.
what annoys me the most, enemy spawn camping.... thats the only thing that really bothers me. just roll up to the enemy spawn and get yourself some free kills, I HATE IT.

especially happens on the smaller maps, but none of the maps are safe in any way.

usually games put in ai bunkers or gun emplacements to deter spawn campers, gaijin, nope, nothing, just bare empty spots and fields....

add a few short reload, short range detection AI, unkillable, with 'pens any and all armour' APHE, AT guns in pillboxes. and a "spawn protection" penalty if theyre really persistant (which i doubt)
an actual staging place... this place should not have defenses against any aircraft as bombing a spawn point should be a thing, due to AAA vehicles for example, these generally tend to not move much XD.
ground forces should be safe from enemy ground forces in their spawn and be able to repair and reload there.

The launcher because its utter trash and crashes my net and never goes my full speed.
Lately the LMS, because remaining crew member were known to switch seats inside a tank that is splattered with their friends remains.

I lost so many kills to this friggin thing, waste 5 armour piercing to pick off crew one by one, someone(whom I don't blame at all) comes in, fires a shot and boom, kill gone, all the work and all you got to show for it is a assist and barely any reward for doing 99% of the work.

Aye.
For some reason no-one complains about air battles
only issue i encounter in air battles is crappy maps, like norway, theyre doing decent at the airplane area.... well decent enough to have ground forces be the center of attention anyway.

British tanks.
that there is no penalty for kamikaze, there has to be some sort of penalty brought in because ppl who use aaa for anti-aircraft to protect the team are vunerable to kamikaze ♥♥♥♥ baller attacks so i think perhaps if you dont get safe and sound your crew is knocked out for rest of battle.

Stop playing ground forces.

Well the real fix is in the stats ;-)

People ram their bombers into tanks because they get kill stats for their TANK and NO DEATH stats. Now stats are so utterly meaningless in this game already, but in this case they can go around saying they're awesome in their tank, when actually all their *tank* stats are from raming bombers into people.

Just fix the stats by giving them a death stat *in that tank*, repair costs *for that plane*, and/or no death stat for the guy just killed, and problem solved. As is- yeah stop playing Ground Forces in AB, it's stupid.

agreed, theres no reason you shouldnt be awarded a death for well dying
by the time youve dropped the bombs its only a ~20s wait till youre forced out... it really wouldnt be that bad

Yep. The fix is surprisingly simple. As with most problems in this game, never blame the players, fix the incentives.
Ever notice in complaint threads it's like 80% Ground Forces issues?
In air battles it very often comes down to pilot skill and pure knowledge of the aircraft you're flying and the one they're flying. But, in ground forces certain vehicles often pull ahead on the playing field, and are assigned dodgy BR's. Any aircraft take can another aircraft out, but in tanks some vehicles are completely invulnerable from others, which basically means they should never be matched (Tiger II and IS-3).

A better idea would be to only let you use a plane you have unlocked and is in your lineup
