Tank Mode in War Thunder VS World of Tanks Blitz

Alot of people play World of Tanks Blitz. But now with War Thunder, the tank combat world has been divided. I dont know what you're opinion is, but I think that Tank Mode in War Thunder is a total ripoff of World of Tanks Blitz. Don't get me wrong, I ain't criticizing War Thunder. It is Just my opinion, feel free to tell me your opinion.

WoT doesnt have aircraft mixed mode which is what im here for, and there is only so much which can be done with tank combat, one doesnt rip off the other, they both rip off real life

2 HEAVILY different games here. WoT and Blitz are very arcade gameplay style with a health point system, lots of paper and prototype vehicles that saw very small or no production at all, far different spotting and aiming system, a more basic movement system, etc.

War Thunder goes for the more realistic gameplay. Armor and models are far more detailed, defeating a vehicle requires either wiping the crew out or setting off the ammo, every tank moves differently (based on weight, what it is driving on, horsepower output from the engine, length of the tank, etc), different ammo has very different post penetration affect (APHE style will do far more damage to multiple components then say solid shot).

You really can't compare the two. War thunder has been around a bit longer, though not the tanks, but they were roughly started at the same time (and far more time is put into each individual vehicle) and lots of research is needed before they finish a tank to add. Simply put, WoT (and Blitz) is an arcade centered game while WT takes a more realistic approach. Both are fine and it really just comes down to what you like better.

Never played "Blitz", played WoT for years.
Played Warthunder Ground forces since the Beta. The game has changed much for the better since then.
I like it better than WoT, but if you ask me to recoomend one of the two to people wanting to play a tank shooting game I'd say "go play WoT"
WoT is much easier to get in to and much more new player friendly.
Warthunder Groundforces has a much more realistic feel, and immersion, to it though. That;s why I like it way better.

How can a game with completely different mechanics be a ripoff of another? Is it because they both have tanks in them?

It's like saying Battlefield BC2 Vietnam and Rising Storm 2 are the same game because they both have guns in them and are both set in Vietnam.

Well that's the key word here, opinion. There is no "better", it's the persons opinion on which game they find better. It's like asking somebody "Which one is better, Coca Cola or Pepsi?", well, everybody is going to have their own opinion as to which is better. If somebody likes arcade gameplay with lots of tanks that never existed, they will probably prefer WoT. If they want a more realistic game with fewer tanks but more detail (and closer to the real thing), then they will probably find War Thunder better.

TL;DR - Neither is better. It's all opinion based.
