APCBC HE filler

I have noticed that there are two types of APCBC in the game, with HE filler and without HE filler.

I find it incorrect and the one with HE filler is supposed to be called APHEBC not APCBC. Right?

It depends on the country, British and French dont use HE filler, Germany and Russia do and US uses both.

Its called APHEBC its a bit different than APCBC dosent have that much of slope modifier

M61 is a APCBC round not a APHEBC and it is clearly stated!

They both contain explosive filler, if thats what you are asking, ABCBC round tends to have less explosive mass than APHEBC, hence the designation HE

Read the above post, both have explosive filler, APCBC has less APHEBC has more hence the HE designation, there are non explosive filler APCBC rounds all the Brits and French tanks use it as well as the US too

No. APCBC means its an AP shell with both a soft cap and ballistic cap. APHEBC is an AP shell lacking a soft cap, containing an explosive filler, but has a ballistic cap. The Soviets were just about the only ones that did not soft cap their AP shells durring the war (they only started doing so with 100mm rounds).

APCBC does not denote filler and WT does not make any mention of it besides the picture and stat card. APCBC with a filler really should be APCBC-HE-T (or APCBC-T-HE). APHEBC would already denote the filler but could still be different such as APBC-HE-T (or APBC-T-HE).

APCBC also comes without explosive filler (as mentioned above) in shells like the British 17 pounder Shot Mk.8 or French SA47 100mm Obus de rupture.

I still find the name kinda silly "obus de rupture" yeah you got that right french naming system, it sure does rupture XD
