as for time frame for Kenshi 2, i would put that at 2 years or more before we get access.
You can also try the Demo, it's listed in the pinned topic
After all, you could die before that happens. We all could.
i think he means "mods" added XD
Wait what! Tell me more. Or link me that mod. :P
So my bet is still a mod, even if it doesn't say it makes such changes. Unfortunately, some authors put in tons of completely unrelated changes in their mods sometimes.
Edit: Ninja'd by an edit. :P
Edit 2: Indeed, nothing of the sort in vanilla around there. So 100% mod.
Though the first game took 12 years most of that was because the developer was one person working on it part time for much of it.
There is now a whole team working on it and they have the base game already to work with and add things too. It will be much faster but still a few years of development.
By building on top of the work done, we're gonna see a very different time table for development. Not to mention the expanded team allowing for faster progress.
But yeah, it'll still be a while before we see anything of major note, largely because of the engine upgrade they're doing first which takes a while Though, not all the devs are going to be working on that, it'll be interesting what the other areas have to show when the time comes. :)
edited for typo ...2 lil sentences and still made a typo lol "walks away shaking head "
thought this was added cuz of a patch download for this game not to long ago and was kinda big (big enough to add something like this)

As for a Kickstarter or something, we'll have to see. Last one didn't go that well, and yet Kenshi made it in defiance of that. I think early access is likely, it was the life blood of Kenshi, and to not would seem odd. It provides a great source of feedback, produces money for development, and allows fans to get involved in development.
