Oculus Rift - Camera independent of car?
I've just tried the game on my rift and I think it's great but it seems like the camera turns different then the car. For example: You turn to the left: 1. Car turns to the left 2. a little bit later the camera turns to the left. This feels really weird.

The second thing that i would suggest is making the controls a little smoother. I totally understand that you have to be able to turn fast but it feels a little to harsh for VR.

Other then that I think the game would be really great in VR! Hope that you are going to continue the support!

digital input smoothing slider in the controls options, if you're using a keyboard... otherwise there's also the driving and flight sensitivity sliders.

the damping I have between the camera and the car helped immersion for me personally. It helps with determining which way the car is flipping, and makes it feel like your head isn't bolted to the chassis. That said, there have been a few requests to remove this, so I will add it to a VR menu as an option.

Right now I actually have a lot of smoothing on the car turning. Again, I think this could use a slider in the VR menu, so it can be tweaked for comfort or control.

Thanks a lot for the replies. :)

Sounds great with the option to remove the damping and I will also try out to change the sensitivity.

Great to have such titles in VR! Keep up the good work!

Please, please please add an option to turn this off. This basically breaks one of the most important rules of VR. In other words for anyone that is only remotely sensitive to simulator sickness this game is unplayable.

My focus today is getting these options into the game. After that we will push out an experimental build.

Awesome! :)

We just barely released an Experimental Branch with a VR settings menu. Neck Spring is the one you will want to disable.
