Incentivized Wheelie Boosting
So just some thoughts regarding wheelieboosting and the current adventure mode. Although wheelie boosting is, as far as i understand, unpreventable on a technical end, allot of players, even those who use it, dislike its existance. As a result some care might need to be made regarding distances so that wheelie boosting isnt incentivized. An item of particular note in adventure mode is Broken Symetry. Do to the close distance of overheating infront of the second checkpoint, it incentivizes a player to wheelie boost inorder to pass through it without overheating, rather than do a roll or let go of boost. I believe the best course of action regarding this would be to lengthen the starting straight away so that 1 roll would get you enough cooldown to pass. As far as I am aware wheelie boosting can only save around .1 seconds of time. Although this might save time and slight distance the cooldown with a roll would be more beneficial as regardless of how fast you wheelie boost you would not be able to pass through the checkpoint without rolling. On the downside this could create a long stretch where players would have to cool down. Due to its possitive impact on high level play, but negative impact on casual play care would have to be taken with tweeking the length. However I believe that even if this notion isnt used to tweek the current maps it should be taken account in adventure mode 2.0.

On another note this should also apply to map makers. For example: I pointing out to Plasmawario on a recent map of his that he inadvertantly did this on his track. He has since updated it so that the final stretch no longer "told" you to wheelieboost.

I keep hearing this a lot on Discord. Could you tell me what exactly wheelieboosting is?

Jump->rear jet slightly so the nose is tilted upward a bit->grip back down onto the road

Do this continually on long straight sections for a tiny, tiny, minuscule improvement.

Not quite. Wheelieboosting, according to my experiments, is generally more helpful when travelling downhill than uphill or on a level track.
