NO SOUND IN COH2

I have been playing COH ffor a lot of years, but since a few days, when I load COH2 there is no sound..., I have not changed anything in the sound menu, my PC has sound, I can play COH3 with sound..., but I don't know what the hell happened suddenly with COH2 there is no sound during the game, and I am very angry!!!!! Does anyone have an idea what it could be...??
