COH 2 WON'T LAUNCH, did anyone found a fix ?
I came back to the game after a few months break re downloaded it and now it will not launch at all. I did a search on the internet for the fix but found nothing. When I start the game it shows that it is running for 2 or 3 second after that it just shuts it self off, it does not show in the task bar and it does not show any errors so i cant even look up the error. I'm using a laptop gtx 1050 (4 gb) , proc I5 7300 HQ ( 2.5 GHz ) , 8 Gb ddr4 (2400 MHz => not sure about MHz), SSD 128 GB and HDD 1 TB.

Dont know, i can't find any fixes on the internet that works, the one i think that might work is to do a fresh windows on the pc that might help. But i don't want to download it again because of my ♥♥♥♥ download speed =(

Non of the suggestions work for me, any other ideas? My game gets stuck at the Company of Heroes logo, I can hear sound of Sega in the background but it never completely loads. I have tried compatibility mode, disabled antivirus, and Windows Defender is disabled. I have also checked the integrity of the files in steam.

Try to increase your virtual memory. I did it on my laptop and a lot of the games work better, COH 2 included i had loads of problems with it before but once i increased my virtual memory every thing works better.

My Specs:

Windows 10 Pro
i7-8700k
32GB Ram
4TB HDD
GTX 1080

I just bought the game so it has never run on my system.

I found a solution that worked for me. I added the following to the launch options.

-refresh 120

I have a 240hz monitor and I guess it was too much for this game. If it doesn't work with 120, try 60. I hope this helps others.

Thanks a bunch.
My game wouldn't launch until I disabled Windows's 10 realtime virus protection.
Cheers.
