Pak 43, 10.5cm leFH 18 Howitzer, B-4 203mm Howitzer and ML-20 152mm Gun-Howitzer.
Hello everyone.

I am here to open a discussion on guns that I referred to in the topic title.

I am here suggesting that these guns have a common ability, that when the enemy launches an incendiary ability and / or white phosphorus, players can use a skill that takes the crew out of the damage area, thus doing them not to die with overtime damage . But in compensation these guns will be disabled until the duration of the ability, after this the crew return to the gun.
So they preserves his veteran status.

no, these are intended counters for arty, if you let the enemy get in range to drop inci/WP on your arty piece you deserve to lose it

If you need to do manual recrewing after that, then I'm for it.

Yea, it's sound like great idea tbh, when you can just pull your units back from that team weapon that you don't want to use anymore.

Half-Track Mortar from the Wehrmacht and from US Army has this abilities. So neither the artillery escape.
With little cost of munition, you end up with all veterans. Including Pak 43, that some skills of Commaders does the Pak 43 in a lot of situations I think to be useless. Counting that it has much less range than the artilleries.
If the enemy has the skills I quoted, and other player have already chosen the commander with Pak 43, for most players I think it will be useless. Because when enemy attacks he will always use these abilities in Pak 43, thus disabling the gun.

To be balanced for my opnion, concrete damage skills such as Stuka JU-87D Bombing Strike, Railway Artillery Support, Air Supremacy Operation, IL-2 Precision Bombing Strike, I think more. It should be the only skills to wipe out veterans and destroy guns.

Commanders can have their pros and cons. But I do not like skills to be very advantageous against another.

Manual recrewing might be an okay idea. But wouldn't you rather just retreat the AT gun?
Seems kind of unbalanced. Because then why limit it to the AT gun. Why not howitzers and other artillery?

I do not want to go deep into AT Gun General. But counting Pak 40 and Pak 43 (German), M1 (USF), Zis-3 (Soviet) and Ordnance QF 6-Pounder (British) are immune to suppression and I believe the front of the gun provides green cover, so in counterpart these guns do not have the Retreat ability.

Veteran Status is important for gameplay, these skills I think are cheap are not being fair to end veterans of the crews, and in the White Phosphorus situation almost completely disabling the Pak 43.
It's too idiotic for the crews to stand in the gun covered by White Phosphorus and / or fire until they die.
If it were to consider Retreat's ability for these guns, with the crew going to base and then returning to guns would be a good advance. However, it has maps that are huge and doing so will disable the gun for long time (excess).

you could have the gun destroyed but have crew get the gun as reinforcement/build new
