Problem with black screen in fullscreen mode when teamviewer is installed

Had a problem where I could only play in windowed mode. In fullscreen the screen was just black. The problem was Teamviewer. The latest version puts a "control/share button" on each window that apparently messes something up and makes COH 2 show a black screen in fullscreen mode. Close teamviewer from status bar and everything should work fine.

Windows 8 64-bit, ATI Radeon HD 6800, Catalyst 13.4 & 13.6

Ideas on how to disable teamviewer extra window-button are appreciated. I'd like to run it in the background (because you won't remember to restart it).

Sorry where is teamviewer? Status bar? did this fix your windowed mode issues? Because mines starts in windowed mode constantly and i cant fix it

Ross, not sure about the others, but while I had teamviewer running, the game would start in windowed mode and then the entire screen would flash on/off (black screen). Actually this is why I got the idea of searching for "coh2 full screen not launching" (or something similar) and the blessed google pointed me to this post. I clearly remember trying to move the window before the game started (or tried to in earnest) and once I did that it would start up normally (in windowed mode). Now, once I close teamviewer the game starts in full screen mode always. I tried changing the resolution down to the lowest available option and it still starts in full screen mode.

Do you have by any chance a nividia graphics card? From what ive been seeing online its an AMD video driver update problem apparently the game doesnt fully support any other except nividia video driver updates and everyone ive seen with the fullscreen issues has still no solution to the problem =/

Teamviewer hasnt had an impact on off or uinstalled so my educated guess is its a relic fu**ed up problem

I still have the issue with my ATI card if Teamviewer is running in the statusbar. No fix yet. Need to quit teamviewer still.

Thanks! I had the same issue. GTX 460 here. Couldn't play full screen, cursor kept flickering on a black screen, but disabled teamviewer and it's working fine again.

Just a tip if you right click on the tray icon for teamviewer and choose "toggle quickconnect button" you can run teamviewer and COH2 in full screen without issues.
