Update: Wait, nevermind apparantly its not buildable, or I'm missing something. Kinda cheap to let the Russians get their heaviest tank off the bat but not be able to field the Tiger until...who knows.
As for the nerfs, after playing they are not as bad as we were lead to believe. German tanks still have more than enough armor and firepower and as they were gas guzzlers I can definitly see reducing manpower and upping fuel costs.
Still, having the tiger as unlockable is f'ed up.

Did everyone forget that the Germans had the late game armour advantage in CoH1... yet the allies can still counter it? o wait... this is the CoH2! So much more balanced.... hahahaha
Germans didn't move panthers in mass of 10+ with other tanks. They worked in smaller groups, also they suffered in the winter and the terrain which wasnt urban.
A lot of the tanks have too fast a turn rate also compared to their real life counterpart, their turrets were cumbersome and really only used in tank warfare. Strums were hardly used and were weak and only used to bust houses/bunkers/pillboxes.
ATM in this game i don't think the tanks need to be nerfed, i think that russian AT needs a buff. The nerf to PT guns was not needed, they were made to hit incredibly vunrable locations on a tank with the precision of a rifleman. They were made to maim tanks and don't do that in this game at all, they even struggle to harm a Scout car.
The AT guns for russians were nerfed also it feels, 70% of their shots hardly scratch the side armor of a panther, still with easily 40% deflect on their ass armor.
When i play germans once i get two tanks its GG for the russians, they get hard pressed and all i need too do is get a few panzer infantry to follow them to deal with flanking tanks.
The problem is the only way i can win with russians right now is to hard rush the enemy base with flame throwers and soon even that will be nerfed. Even though all germans need to do is buy one panzergren and that rush is over. Other strats rely on team mates putting all their forces into one location, and that just allows germans to focus on arty while sitting back and building up their tanks. I even played games where we owned nearly every point on the map and the germans pushed back just with two tanks each, my whole force couldnt kill those two tanks.
All russians need is their AT buffed a little more, or decrease the deflect and robustness of the german tanks. If not that, make their speed MUCH slower, they move incredibly fast and reach top speed in 3 seconds (wtf really..). It will give us at least a little more a chance to win the bloody game.
There are many ways to slow down a tank: damaged its engine, use guard troops or a weak point shot etc.

Let´s be honest, you have no clue how to conquer german tanks, the russian have the better AT weapons. AT grenades are very effective to slow tanks down against what the Panzerschreck is way to weak, 1 shot only deals about 20% damage to a T34, before the patch.
@ topic: it seems like Relic has no idea of good balancing if they allways do such radical changes.
