Skirmish Mode?
I'm new to COH2, but played a ton of COH. Did they remove the skirmish mode? My favorite part of the first COH was the skirmish mode where I could play against AI on those capture the territory type maps. There were tons of maps available in COH to play against and with the AI.

I can't seem to find that in COH2. Closest thing I can find are the AI Battles, but there is only like one of them in the entire game where you can individually fight the AI. I would go with co-op, but the game so far does not like my internet connection.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to get that "skirmish" experience in COH2, similar to the first game?

we have skirmish games, what are you talking about?

I mean skirmishes where I can play the AI by myself (rather than co-op online). I may just be an idiot and can't find where this option exists on the COH2 menu. If that is the case, could you point out where I can find this option in the menus? Thanks!

Online and Skirmish->Custom game.
The small computer icon(upper right side of a slot) is to add an AI and the arrow icon(lower right side) is to switch to that slot.

Sorry but I can't seem to find this option?

It says I need at least one multiplayer army...?

Choose
>> 'Online & Skirmish' ... from 'Play' menu
>> 'Create Custom Game'
>> your team on the left side
>> 'Add Computer Player' on the right side
>> the opposing team you want to play - click on flag - choose difficulty.

and choose the map you want to play in the middle.
