How to make Pathfinders too stronk
Step 1. Git pathfinders (I&R pathfinders work as well)

Step 2. Gib dem pathfinders some zookas (two)

Step 3. Snipe all the tanks

Explanation and definitions, It is best to know the vet levels of pathfinders (I&R Pathfinders have the same vet levels)

First off, pathfinders (not I&R), start with TWO irremovable, undroppable, springfield rifles, these are less extreme version of snipars, they give the squad AWESOME dps at mid to long range, the other 2 dudes have normal garands and pretty low DPS, don't let them decieve you, when you give pathfinders weps it replaces these 2 mundane garrand scrubs (you're dps is basically increasing no matter what weapon), besides, bazookas and panzershreks have a small chance to instakill an infantry unit with a direct hit, increasing DPS.

Since Pathfinders of both types have low xp requirement, equiping zookas on them will ensure that they will reach vet 3 before the enemy has their second medium tank out

Vet1: Gives the pathfinders Increased sight range
Dis is really gud, see, cus if you see VERY far its hard to be hit by things you can't see, because pathfinders already start with a colossal sight range, this is only increased by this vet level!

Vet2: Survival and weapon control under fire
Dis very useful, pathfinders ain't squishy anymore and are beefy, and have better accuracy under fire

Vet3: Increased pathfinder RANGE and ACCURACY
This is the great buildup which turns pathfinders into the best AT support unit out there (very mobile unit that is flexible). Not only does this promise a hit EVERY time the pathfinder fires, but it increases ITS RANGE (range upgrade applies to the springfield rifles and any obtained gun)! This is no wimpy range upgrade either, it is a very long decisive range, allowing pathfinders to do a double shot on a tank, and move back.

Note that this is support and you should have this pathfinder squad with another squad, or a flak halftrack for good combined arms combo.

Before you rant on why this is bad for any reason (Dis 2 gud), try at least ONE or TWO games following the pathfinders with 2 bazookas build before you rant.

Do Pathfinders have weapon slots? If so, this is evil, and wonderful-sounding. But wouldn't you prefer to get Panzerschrecks for these future elite AT-snipers?

yes, i think it allows 1 slot only. Personally AT on them is just meh.

The nastiest weapon on pathfinders would be LMG either M1919A6, LMG 36. It brings the target models to low health really quick and combine with pathfinders instant crit passive which would wipe out any squads in secs even Ubersoldaten cant compete with them

Apparently Relic underlook this for now.

It doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would be particularly easy to reproduce. But vet 3 pathfinders with the Obersoldaten lmg sounds really annoying to try to advance against.

Im 90% sure the the models holding the springfield rifles are the ones that get the crits off which insta-kills and even then its a 50% chance.

no they dont have the passive instant crit. Only Jaeger Light infantry and pathfinders

All US units, with the exception of medics, have two weapon slots

Ok i need to admit it he's right vet 3 pathfinders are awesome. Hide them and stop auto firing wait for back of tanks exposed send 2 m36, boum kingtiger out in 1 min

For complting the post here is the strat for At pathfinding :

Opening : 2 rifles for capping

Rear must build mg position and caches for ensuring fast exp to lvl 1 aibrone (note : the mg will help you maintening the front line until pathfinder arrived.

Early game :

Order 2 pathfinders no more no less.

Order T3 captain, you will have enough fuel to order a stuart (vitale piece)

If enough Ammo and fuel order the bazooka and equip them

Use the stuart fro crippling enemy tanks (low and med one)

Mid game :

By that time your pathfinder will have exp (Lvl 1 or 2),
Order bazookas equip them for pathfinder

You can also if enough ammo buy the bars for your previous rifleman for more firepower.

Order a para unit equip with 1919 mg

Late game :

Order major and M8A1 for more inf firepower and then a Jackson.

Ps : Use the hide features of pathfinders

Just tried your strat out, and one thing that sucks major donkey balls is that they drop the weapons at 1.man down.
Wont be a strat for me, but if you like it great. Wont call it op at all :)
